Cove Baptist Fellowship is an exciting place where
lives are positively changed and the love of Jesus
Christ is shared. The messages are centered in
God's word and relevant to issues facing families in
today's society. Our music is exciting and
filled with passion and our caring ministries are
centered in the love of our Savior. CCBF has a
rich heritage of faith and a bright future of hope.
We welcome you to our community and invite you to be
a part of the excitement by joining us at any of our
services. We provide childcare at all of our
regular services.
Our purpose statement is simply "Sharing God's
love." Cades Cove Baptist fellowship exists to
share God's love. We do this by expressing our
love upwardly: Romans 15:6 "that you may with
one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ." By expressing our love
outwardly: Luke 19:10 "for the Son of Man has come
to seek and to save that which was lost." And
by expressing our love inwardly to each other in the
expressions of our gifts: Ephesians 4:11-12 " And He
Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets,
some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for
the equipping of the saints for the work of
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
Our church is structured on the basis of our
member's spiritual gifts. We serve together as
a team in the building of God's Kingdom. The
leadership of our church is structured around
ministry teams and our team leaders meet regularly
to discover God's fresh purpose for our church.
One of our church themes is "when you are green you
are growing and when you are ripe you rot." At
Cades Cove Baptist Fellowship we have not "arrived."
That is why we have made learning how to be better
Christians a priority in our ministry. Another
theme is "the church has left the building."
The community is not here for our church. We
are here for our community and we are regularly
involved in servant evangelism ministries.
